The following day, the CDC followed up with a detailed Food Safety Alert, which listed the products recalled, symptoms to look out for, and what to do with the recalled product.

• If you have any of the listed recalled products, you should throw them out or return them to their place of purchase.

• Listeria can produce mild symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, nausea, and diarrhea. But can lead to severe infections in the body, including the blood and brain. ² ³

• Pregnant people and individuals with weakened immune systems are more susceptible to Listeria infections. ⁴
